A brief history of Rasdex NZ from its beginnings...
Oct 2006 - Summer's coming again!
It's been a busy year. If you weren't lucky enough to win one of our spotties at the Bloody Good Race, the Brass Monkey Kayak Races, the Rollo's 24hr Adventure Race, canoe polo championships or a slalom to name but a few, you'll have more chances this season. We'll be at the Teva Big Day at the Office race in Methven and Adventure Marlborough just for starters.
Nov 2005 - Now we're racing!
The team at Adventure Philosophy have now become the first paddlers to successfully circumnavigate the island of South Georgia by sea kayak. It's an awesome achievement and we send them our wholehearted congratulations. Check out the Adventure Philosophy site where you can read more about their adventure. Closer to home, our Multisport PFD is now in the shops, and we believe it's the best one available. Check it out here and in the shops and see if you agree.
Oct 2005 - New season, new adventures, new kit...
Roll on summer! The team at Adventure Philosophy have set off for South Georgia aiming to be the first to successfully circumnavigate the island by sea kayak. It's an awesome challenge, they have a British team hot on their heels and they're glad to be using our Kevlar Decks as they can't afford any mishaps with their gear in such a hostile environment. Check out the Adventure Philosophy site where you can sign up for updates on their progress or just read more about their mission. Our Multisport PFD is about to be launched as well, keep your eyes on this site and on your local shops for what's already been called 'the most efficient, comfortable, user friendly multisport PFD on the market'.
May 2005 - Full speed ahead...
Well, we've been at the Speight's Coast to Coast, and the Bloody Good Race, and now we're getting ready for the Brass Monkeys once again. Between races lots of development is being done - keep checking out our Accessories as we add more items, and take a look at our Polartec Shorts for winter. If you've got anything to say on the subject of multisport buoyancy vest design then email us with your ideas and you'll go into a draw to win one when they're out next season.
Jan 2005 - It's all go...
Rhino Decks are being updated with a black print version now available - if you've ever wanted a Rhino Deck but not found a colour to match your boat, now you can head to the shops and get the one that will go with everything. Extra-large kevlar decks are also being produced for the Bliss-Stick MAC in assocation with Mick Hopkinson, and are nearly perfect now, not long to wait! Apart from that, it's all go for the Speight's Coast to Coast followed swiftly by the Mt Cook - The Bloody Good Race - hope to see you there.
Oct 2004 - New kit now out!
The new season's kit is now here - check out the new additions to the Adventure Range, and also the Kevlar Range for whitewater fiends (in shops soon). We're focusing on top-class fabrics this year, and not skimping on the use of real kevlar where it counts! Discontinued lines can now be found on the Special Offers page - where we or our retailers still have stock, there may be bargains to be had.
Stockists - our network is growing
If you check out our Retail Outlets menu at the top of the page, you'll see new stockists now appearing in quite a few different regions. If you think our kit should be in your local shop, tell them about this website and ask them to get in touch with us. Remember, any listed stockist will be able to order our products for you, or you can contact us directly if necessary.
